In creating my new one-of-a-kind pieces for Fall 2011, I embraced the season's unexpected rich and vibrant palette of purple, wine, green and blue, and included a brilliant mix of colorful gems. I used drusy in caramel-toned agates, emerald-green garnets, and chrysocolla as well as slate and ruby zoisite to craft my designs. Large lustrous white and shimmering taupe baroque pearls inspired my dramatic neck chains, earrings, and statement rings. Working in 18kt gold, steel and sterling silver with 18kt gold, I juxtaposed the luxurious with the artisanal, and the result is a collection of the perfect accessories for the upcoming season.
